Creative Strands, A Fiber Arts Conference is to be held July 7-11, 2004 at Bucknell University Campus, Lewisburg, PA. It appears that it is to be a glorious affair and within most pocketbook's reach. The affair is presented by Augusta Marketing. Along with usual categories are several workshops on silk felting from scarves to "celestial balls", color and design, dyeing both natural and with other means.

I am amazed and delighted....I am a storyteller and have traveled for 5 years with this and am an artist.....beginning to take the legend of the Spiderwoman...the olde grandmother spider who weaves life...in all its hues and directions of the heart......not only do I enjoy weaving a story and holding it for a precious moment and handing it to a childe or an adult who still has the elvan light in their eyes...but want to give them something tactile.....to hold and turn and look and weave a story with dewdrops and fairy laughter....this site is an absolute delight....I wish I had found this sooner as I create....and the choice of coffee filters....OMGoodness......this even touches sustainable living groups.....
